THE FIRST GAME
Story
Subtitled Tower of Sado, the entire game takes place in a tower. No town, no safe place. You venture into the tower to save some girls from the nearby town who were kidnapped by monsters(girls with monster bits). There are 5 floors. Each floor you must find some trapped girl who will tell you how to defeat the boss, and then find an item if needed. Then go, lose to the boss for a scene, and then beat the boss for another scene.
Gameplay
The game uses random encounters, all of which are “monster” girls who lose clothing when defeated. Combat is one on one. Your options are attack, guard, magic, and item. Magic takes half your current MP and does a stronger attack. Enemies also get magic that deals set amounts of damage.
You can find better equipment throughout the tower. Its all in linear progression though so just stick with the strongest thing. As for items, if you start to run out the general idea is to run to a lower floor and farm for items off of monsters that do 0 damage to you.
H scenes and other things
The sex scenes are mostly S&M yuri stuff. One girl uses a whip, another a candle dripping, another enemas’, and so on. The final boss is a tentacle monster so no yuri there, though if you have gotten all the scenes to that point and lose to the endboss all the girls will cycle you through their scenes.
This game is actually a graphical uphaul of an older version. G-Collections grabbed this one to localize instead of the 8-bit version, and it shows. The art is very good, though it falls on a lot of other things. Other then Raidy’s voice, all the voices sound far away and aren’t very good. The scenes come in two varieties, one where you have to click options to progress and ones where you can sit there. Older games had this odd style where the scene would get so far and then the player has to pick options x amount of times to progress which could become tedious when skipping or when the player just wants to read.
Some of the scenes have animations, which is a plus. The problem with them is that most of the time its just a characters arm or the girls boobs and not their entire model that moves, making them feel just plain weird.
This is not a very good game. It’s actually about 20 years old and it shows in its basic game design. The plot is nothing to care about, and the biggest merit of this game is that it was the first yuri game to be brought to the west.
THE SECOND GAME
Story
Raidy comes to a village in the desert, learns bandits are kidnapping girls, goes to save them. Learns that a little more is going on.
Gameplay
This game is a sequel. Its better in every way. Shops, a hub area, reoccuring characters, an actual plot that changes, non-linear weapon progression(evasion or defense? Accuracy or power?) more variety in scenes, and a couple animated scenes(though they are a bit odd, and a few have some weird choices on what is animated…).
Battles now give gold to spend in the shops in game, but otherwise battles are basically the same. You will need to grind early on as the second boss is a giant step up on difficulty. Monster magic is still set damage, and they lose their clothes after losing. As for boss battles, for most of them you will still need to find a weakness before fighting to win. Or lose, the game still has GoR(game over rape). Your magic attack is changed now. Instead of taking off half your MP, you can spend about 20 to charge up. Do that 5 times and you will oneshot most of the bosses
H scenes and other things
Sex scenes have a little more variety. The same idea of the first game is here, yuri S&M in various ways, but now their is some male on female and some other weird scenes. The male only gets 3~ scenes if you don’t like him and just want yuri. Three of the girls from the first game even make a return and redo their scenes. The game still has a few scenes where you have to select options to move on. Voices are still odd though. This is also the graphical updated version that G-Collections localized. Also, has better animations then the first game, though a few are still just boobs jiggling and not real animation.
Third Game
Story
After Raidy 2, Raidy gets a clue/lead to some info about her boyfriend and heads out. She is followed by the three cameo monsters from the second game who now have no home because Raidy destroyed it in the second game. Upon arriving in a new town, they eat Raidy into debt so bad she either needs to prostitute herself or do a lot of work for the thieve’s guild whom she owes the debt. It is decided Raidy would clear the sewers which have been a place of disappearances and monsters, and has a ring put on her to track her. The ring ends up fusing Raidy and her three tag alongs. Upon another cameo from the first game the ring is brought under control and Raidy is sent out to brave the sewers, where she once again meets the Cult of Chaos from the previous game.
Gameplay
UI wise its the same as two, but now money has no use. Instead, enemies drop items(and worthless gold for some reason) which are traded at the mages place(character from first game) for healing items and new gear. Other then two accessories, all gear is gotten from this system.
Another change is you no longer have to learn a bosses weakness or get an item to defeat them. Usually finding a single key is enough, though some bosses(3) do have auto wins if you don’t do things before hand.
The biggest new mechanic of the game is fusing with the three girls. This means you can play as either Raidy, beast Raidy fused with whip werwolf girl, elf Raidy with dark skin elf and enemas, or demon Raidy with demon girl who likes candles.
While cool on paper, these fusions become the biggest issue with this game if you want to 100%. Every boss needs to be beaten/loss to if each form, and every non story event also needs to be seen with every form. The only way to change is to leave the dungeon and go into wherever you change at the time, then trekking back through the entire dungeon.
Each form has slight stat changes, like Demon takes half damage and does more but can’t hit stuff. The problem with the other forms gameplay wise is they are very limited in actions, as only Raidy has access to special attacks. The other forms can only do a basic attack, so Mp is useless for them.
Last thing, dungeons. Each dungeon has about 3 floors except the single floor one which is huge. After the first dungeon, most of the others will only have bosses at the very end, which means way less bosses then Raidy 2. The dungeons are also kinda boring and don’t add any new features. You also can’t strafe or anything, which is very much desired.

H and other Stuff
Raidy 3, h wise, is a big disappointment. While there is still some yuri, a lot of the scenes are now male dominated. Even in scenes between women there will either be a dick or a tentacle used to penetrate. Gone are the days of different unique torture methods or ways of doing S&M, everything is tentacles/dicks/or toys. Most actual yuri is gotten from beating the bosses where whichever form you are decides your scene type, or from scenes with Erouge, the mage. A lot of the lose scenes and story scenes are just very malish. An example is the werewolf girls win scenes. At first she does her whipping thing as you would expect, but as of the second scene she sticks the whip into the girls vag. She does this in most of her win scenes. It just isn’t very yuri feeling at all. Also, when you lose the cgs tend to not show the other girl, instead focusing on Raidy and whoever she was fused with.
If you like the Raidy series because of the yuri, this is most likely the end of that being the series’s charm. It seems to be shifting into a more generic setup sex wise and I really wish it wasn’t. As for everything else, art is more polished then Raidy 2 with far better animation. Almost every scene has an animated bit, and the voices sound far better then in the previous games. You no longer have silly choices mid h scene about torture interrogation and can just focus on the scene. Music is as generic as ever. Dungeons walls look ugly but at least have a few different styles. Overall, this game is a step back from Raidy 2 in a lot of ways and is just not as fun.
End Game Review
If you wanted to play a Raidy game, two is where to start. It’s better on almost every field then the original and where a lot of the story starts.
Saves contain every scene replayable, plus all cgs which include all the monsters and their losing poses.
