I have decided to reformat, after successfully doing so, there were 3 missing drivers on the device manager, those were;
ethernet controller
audio device on high definition audio bus
video controller (vga compatible)
I'm already done with ethernet controller (can now connect to the internet) and audio device (now have sound)
The thing where I need help is the video controller, I downloaded the one here

and found out that it only works if my monitor is plugged to my i/o plate, while my monitor is currently plugged to an expansion slot due to my graphics card.
Should I just do the following?;
1. change where my monitor is plugged to the i/o plate
2. download and install the driver
3. plug my monitor again to the expansion slot
4. download the drivers for my graphics card (nvidia geforce 8400 gs) and install it
5. and it will work fine? or is there a proper way of doing this?
